Why am I seeing -1 Can't contact LDAP server showing up in my EZproxy messages file

  • Users are unable to login to EZproxy
  •  -1 Can't contact LDAP server is showing up in my EZproxy logs
  1. Contact the local IT department and provide them the EZproxy server IP address and have it unblocked for the LDAP server
  2. This block may be at an institution firewall or at the local computer, the error message will include the server EZproxy is trying to contact.
