Users blocked by the Security Rules still have an active session

Symptom

  • Accounts that have been blocked by the Security Rules do still have active sessions on the /status screen

 

Resolution

Blocked users' sessions are not terminated automatically.
Once a user is blocked, any subsequent requests they make will be answered with the suspend.htmpage. This ensures that while the session remains technically active, the user no longer has access to EZproxy.
