Symptom

  • When trying to access a resource through EZproxy, this error message is shown:
    Max challenge attempts exceeded. Please refresh the page to try again!

 

Resolution

The error message is from CloudFront.

Therefore, this needs to be raised with the vendor/publisher. 

They will need to check that your EZproxy server IP is registered with themselves, and on the allow-list of any Content Delivery Platforms they use such as CloudFront.
