RemoteTimeout

RemoteTimeout specifies the number of seconds to wait for a remote web server to respond when transferring rewritten content. This timeout does not control the total amount of time for the transfer, but rather the maximum amount of time that EZproxy will wait without receiving any data from the remote web server before abandoning the request. Examples of rewritten content include H TML, and when JavaScript processing is active, script files, CSS files, and XML files. The default value is 60 seconds.

If the number of seconds specified with RemoteTimeout is greater than the current value of BinaryTimeout, the BinaryTimeout value is raised to match the RemoteTimeout limit. If the number of seconds specified with RemoteTimeout is less than the current value of BinaryTimeout, the BinaryTimeout value is unchanged.
