Why are my database recommendations not showing in WorldCat Discovery?

  • Not all the remote databases I have selected in the Service Configuration are surfacing as recommended databases in WorldCat Discovery

There are a few things you will want to check to make sure everything is configured correctly for database recommendations.

  1. Make sure that the database that is missing from recommendations in WorldCat Discovery has been added to a database group in Service Configuration > Metasearch Content > Default Databases and Licensed Content > Group Configured Databases.
  2. Confirm that the database group you have added the missing database to is selected in WorldCat Discovery > Advanced Search.
