Where does our A-Z list generate from in WorldCat Discovery?

Applies to
  • WorldCat Discovery
Answer

The A-Z list data is populated based on what your institution has selected in the Knowledge Base.  Full-text links are populated by coverage information in the titles selected within WorldShare Collection Manager.

To improve Full text linking from the A to Z list

The A to Z list relies on ISSN data when it creates Full Text links.  Adding additional data such as ISSN and EISSN to Journal titles in WorldShare Collection Manager will give the link resolver more to work with.

Additional Information

When generating a citation, The A-Z list uses ISSN to match to WorldCat records.
