When searching on WorldCat.org I am seeing an error that says "Oops something went wrong."

Symptom

• I am unable to search or create new lists when I am logged into my WorldCat.org account.
• When I attempt to view the account profile's favorite library I see a second error that says “Unable to retrieve your profile information. Please try again.”

Resolution

Set a favorite library on the WorldCat.org account

1. Sign into WorldCat.org on the account that causes the issue.
2. Click the items dropdown menu on the left of the WorldCat.org search bar
3. Select Libraries from the dropdown
4. Search for your favorite library
5. Click the favorite library star that appears next to your favorite library in the search result
