Learn how to integrate third party collections with the catalog search in your CapiraMobile app.

Overview

To integrate your OverDrive or Hoopla collections with the catalog search in CapiraMobile via API, please contact your provider to retrieve the needed information outlined below. Supply this information with a ticket to OCLC Support.

OverDrive catalog integration

  • API client key
  • API secret
  • Library ID

Refer to Getting Started with OverDrive APIs to learn how to apply for a developer account and request an API Secret.

 Caution: Please note that the API Secret is sent in a link that can only be opened once. For this reason, please follow the steps below:

  1. Create your OverDrive API Secret. 
  2. Open the link from OverDrive.
  3. Copy the information exactly as it appears and send to OCLC Support via email or support ticket.
