Answer
You can create a custom holdings group that contains all of the libraries you don't want to charge, and then use an automation that will recognize when a request comes through from a borrower in this group and assign a unique constant data profile to the request that doesn't include charges. Follow these steps:
- Go to OCLC Service Configuration (worldcat.org/config) > WorldShare ILL > Lender Data.
- Click Create New CD record.
- Fill in the information and do not check the box for Add ILL Management Fee. Enter Lending Charges of 0.00. If needed, more information is available on the Lender Data fields.
- Once complete, save the new constant data record.
- Go to Service Configuration > WorldShare ILL > Custom Holdings Groups. If you don't already have one, create a new group that contains all of the lenders you do not want to charge. Save your changes.
- Go to Service Configuration > Automated Request Manager > Lending.
- Click Add New.
- Add an automation name and choose the priority.
- Under Matches, select Borrower Group, and then select your new Custom Holdings Group.
- Under Actions, select Apply Constant Data, and choose your new constant data record.
