How do I change the currency in my request?

Symptom
  • You would like to change the currency in your request because you are requesting an item from an international lender, or when you receive a conditional answer from a lender with the request to change the currency from your local one to USD, for instance.

Resolution
  1. Navigate to the Borrowing Library tab and next to maximum cost, select the desired currency. If it appears, select it and save or send your request accordingly.
  2. If it does not appear,  select it in OCLC Service Configuration. Navigate to WorldCat Registry - Currency and Locale. Select your desired (local) currency. This will then be added to your request form, alongside USD.
  3. You may need to refresh WorldShare ILL or Tipasa in order to use the newly added currency.
