Can we skip to the next lender in the lender string?

It is not possible to manually skip a lender. The system uses the Days to Respond indicated by the lending libraries to move the request automatically through the lender string.
If you need the request to go to the next lender, you will need to cancel the current request and create a new one with an updated lender string.
