Tipasa patron accounts aren't showing the option to set/reset user password

Symptom

  • When you view a patron account with the default authentication method (OCLC-DB) in Tipasa, you don't see the option to send a set/reset password email.
  • When you view the same account in WorldShare Admin, you see the set/reset option.

Resolution

Once multiple SSOs are enabled, the Tipasa patron view will default to the most restrictive rule for displaying the set/reset password option. This causes the set/reset option to only appear on OCLC-DB accounts when you view them in the Admin portal.
