ILL statuses

Find a description of the requests statuses in Tipasa and learn how a request status appears in the staff view and the patron view.

The following table shows how request status appears to staff in the Tipasa interface and to patrons in My Account:

ILL REQUESTS
Not Reviewed Submitted The request has been submitted by the patron, but not yet been reviewed by library staff.

Cancel

 

Reviewed The request has been submitted by the patron and reviewed by library staff.
Submitted Library staff sent the request to lenders.
Considering The lender is considering if they can supply the item for the request.
Conditional The lender requested additional information about the request.
In Transit In Transit The requested item is in transit and is being routed to the borrower.  
Received? The borrower has not indicated if a shipped item has been received.
Not Received The borrower has not received an item sent by the lender and responded No to Received?
Received/In Use

Due [date]

OR

Received by library

The requested item was received by the library.

Depending on the Display patron due date setting in the Patron Settings module of the Service Configuration:

  • If On is selected, the due date displayed in My Account will be the lender's due date, minus offset configured in OCLC Service Configuration.
  • If deselected, the due date does not display in My Account and the status will be Received by library.

Renew Request

  • If the option is turned on in Patron Settings.
  • The Renew button is removed from My Account once the Patron Due Date has passed.  Staff will still have the option to Renew the material for the patron in the staff interface.
Item due back Recalled. Return item to library immediately. The requested item has been recalled by the lender and should be returned to the library.  
Overdue Overdue. Return Item.

The requested item has passed the due date and will need to be returned to the library.

 
Lost Lost (contact library) The requested item was lost by the borrowing library or the patron. The patron should contact the library.  
Unfilled Submitted Library staff were unable to borrow the requested item from the initial lenders.  Staff have the option to resend the request to new lenders, change fulfillment type or cancel the request.  See Unfilled Requests for more information.   
Closed (Unfilled) Unable to provide Library staff were unable to borrow the requested item. Request Again
Closed (Expired) Unable to provide Library staff were unable to borrow the requested item within the patron's timeframe. Request Again
Closed (Cancelled) Canceled Library staff or patron canceled the request. Request Again
Returned Complete The requested item has been returned to the lender. Request Again
Returned/Complete? The requested item has been returned to the lender and is awaiting confirmation to complete the request Request Again
Loans: Closed (Supplied) The requested item has been checked in by the lender. Request Again
Copies: Closed (Supplied) Click here to view item (if link)/Complete (if physical copy) The requested item is available or has been supplied to the patron.

Request Again

  • Displays when the link has expired or no views are available for the digital copy 
PURCHASE REQUESTS  
On Order Item requested for purchase The requested item is on order.  
Received/Closed Received by library The requested item was received by the library.  
Closed (Cancelled) Canceled by library Library staff have canceled the request. Request Again
DOCUMENT DELIVERY  
Delivering [Advanced Lending not enabled] Submitted The library has not enabled advanced lending, the item will transition directly from "submitted" to "click here to view item" or "complete".  
Delivering (Verifying) The library has enabled Advanced Lending queues. Library staff are verifying that the requested item is available.

Cancel

Delivering (Retrieving) Item being retrieved The library has enabled Advanced Lending queues. Library staff are retrieving the requested item.
Delivering (Scanning) Item being scanned The library has enabled Advanced Lending queues. Library staff are scanning the requested item.
Delivering (Packaging) Item being packaged for shipping The library has enabled Advanced Lending queues. Library staff are packaging the requested item for delivery to the patron.  
Closed (Supplied) Complete (if physical copy)/Click here to view item (if digital copy) The requested item has been supplied to the patron or is available to view electronically if it's a digital copy.

Request Again

  • Displays when the link has expired or no views are available for the digital copy
