ILL statuses

The following table shows how request status appears to staff in the Tipasa interface and to patron in the user portal:

Status   Description

ILL REQUESTS
Not Reviewed Submitted The request has been submitted by the patron, but not yet been reviewed by library staff.

Cancel

Reviewed The request has been submitted by the patron and reviewed by library staff.
Submitted Library staff sent the request to lenders.
Considering The lender is considering if they can supply the item for the request.
Conditional The lender requested additional information about the request.
In Transit In Transit The requested item is in transit and is being routed to the borrower.  
Received/In Use Due [date] The requested item was received by the library. The due date displayed in the user portal will be the lender's due date, minus offset configured in OCLC Service Configuration.

Renew

  • If the option is turned on in Patron Settings.
  • The Renew button is removed from the User Portal once the Patron Due Date has passed.  Staff will still have the option to Renew the material for the patron in the staff interface.
Closed (Unfilled) Unable to provide Library staff were unable to borrow the requested item.  
Closed (Expired) Unable to provide Library staff were unable to borrow the requested item within the patron's timeframe.  
Closed (Cancelled) Canceled Library staff or patron canceled the request.  
Returned Complete The requested item has been returned to the lender.  
Loans: Closed (Supplied) The requested item has been checked in by the lender.  
Copies: Closed (Supplied) Available to view (if link)/Complete (if physical copy) The requested item is available or has been supplied to the patron. Link to the material (if digital).
PURCHASE REQUESTS  
On Order Item requested for purchase The requested item is on order.  
Received/Closed Received by library The requested item was received by the library.  
Closed (Cancelled) Canceled by library Library staff have canceled the request.  
DOCUMENT DELIVERY  
Delivering [Advanced Lending not enabled] Submitted The library has not enabled advanced lending, the item will transition directly from "submitted" to "available to view" or "complete".  
Delivering (Verifying) The library has enabled Advanced Lending queues. Library staff are verifying that the requested item is available.

Cancel

Delivering (Retrieving) Item being retrieved The library has enabled Advanced Lending queues. Library staff are retrieving the requested item.
Delivering (Scanning) Item being scanned The library has enabled Advanced Lending queues. Library staff are scanning the requested item.
Delivering (Packaging) Item being packaged for shipping The library has enabled Advanced Lending queues. Library staff are packaging the requested item for delivery to the patron.  
Closed (Supplied) Complete (if physical copy)/Available to view (if digital copy) The requested item has been supplied to the patron or is available to view electronically if it's a digital copy. Link to the material (if digital).
