When I am searching OCLC for holdings in ILLiad, I am not getting many matches for results
Symptom
- When you are searching OCLC, you are not getting many results in ILLiad
Applies to
- ILLiad
Resolution
When searching OCLC in ILLiad, you may have a limit set on your searches. The key OCLCILLAutoLimitType limits a query based upon the request type. For a loan, the type will be Book, for an article, the limit will be Serial Publications. When searching, you will see "1 Type selected" in the Type field. If you do not want the limit to be automatically applied, you need to do the following:
- Go to your Customization Manager and update the OCLCILLAutoLimitType to No and save the change.
- Open up the ILLiad Client for all the computers using ILLiad.
Now, you will not see a limit applied to your search.
