In ILLiad, when we try go to go the PDF file directly, we are getting an Authentication error message

Symptom

• You are going directly to the PDF file using the URL and you are getting an authentication error

Resolution

You need to make sure your Authentication method is set up in IIS.  Here are the steps:

1. Open UP IIS and go to the Sites, Default Web Site, ILLiad and select the PDF folder.
2. In the IIS section on the right, click on the Authentication icon.
3. Make sure Anonymous Authentication is Enabled.  
4. If you change it to Enabled, you need to restart IIS.

The PDF should now be available.
