I have Borrowing requests stuck at Awaiting Direct Request Sending, how do I fix this?

Symptom

• You have requests sitting in the Transaction Status of "Awaiting Direct Request Sending" and they have been sitting there for more than ten minutes

Resolution

If you are hosted by OCLC, contact OCLC Support and ask to have the ILLiad Connection Manager service restarted.  If you are self-hosted, contact your Web Server Administrator and have the ILLiad Connection Manager service restarted.
