I created a Borrowing Routing rule that goes to a CustomQueue and when I try to request from OCLC, I am unable to put in the Lending symbols

Symptom
  • You are trying to Borrow a request from a Custom Queue, but you are missing the box to put in the lending symbols on the right side

Resolution

In order to Borrow from a Custom Queue, you need to do the following:

  1. Go to the ILLiad Customization Manager and then to the CustomQueues table.  Copy a record that already has Borrowing as the Process Type.
  2. Update the QueueName to the CustomQueue you want to use to Borrow from Lending sites.  Save the change.
  3. Open up the ILLiad Client again and you should see the box on the right side when you are under the OCLC tab and you can now put lenders in the box.
