No longer able to search records using the Transaction number in ILLiad

Symptom
  • When searching for a Transaction Number, they are not seeing any results.  This is also applicable to the ILL  Number.

Resolution

I have attached two screenshots of how your search screen should appear.  In the Search box where you put in the number, you can have ALL or TN if you are searching for a Transaction Number.  You need to make sure you highlight the Three boxes to the right.  The first is for Borrowing, the second for Doc Del, the Third for Lending.  Many times people will be searching for a borrowing request, and you have a box that is not highlighted, and that is the one they should have highlighted.  Next, the four boxes below should not be highlighted.  When you highlight the four boxes, they are limiting the requests only to those types of requests.  The boxes in order from left to right are Active, Checked Out, Canceled, and Finished.  If one of them is highlighted such as Finished, you will not be able to find any request other than those that are at the status of "Request Finished."  So for the most results, none of those boxes should be selected.

At the bottom of the screen, you will see if you have any limitations on the results you want.  The second screenshot called Limiter.png shows an example of a restriction I may have set previously.  In the first screenshot, I have it as a Process Type of a Loan, but in the limiter, I have the Process Type of Article.  If you are not getting results, remove any limiter,
