How do I fix the OCLC status when I have a book that was billed because it was damaged and the request is finished, but the OCLC Status says "Received - Overdue?"

Symptom

• You had a bill that was paid by a library and the request is finished, but the OCLC status is at the status is "Request Finished."  You want to update the OCLC status from  "Received - Overdue" to "Not found" so it is complete in the OCLC system.

Resolution

You have two options for fixing the OCLC Status.

1. You can ask the Borrowing library to mark the item as returned so you can complete it in ILLiad and this will update OCLC status.
2. You will have to wait six months for the request to age out of OCLC and the status will be updated.
