An ILLiad request is stuck in Awaiting Lending Scanning

Symptom
  • A request is in Awaiting Lending Scanning
  • When you try to open the Awaiting Lending Scanning queue, a blank scanning form appears without any request information

Resolution

Items from in Awaiting Lending Scanning did not finish the scanning process. Here is how to fix them:

  1. Right-click on the Awaiting Lending Scanning queue and select View Requests. This also works for In Stacks Searching.
  2. Open the request you want to process
  3. Click on Mark Found Scan Now and complete the scan.
