If I export a record via TCP/IP that already exists in our system, will this overlay the old record?

Answer

You will need to check with your ILS provider to confirm how your system handles these records. Record Manager sends the record to your local system, but it's ultimately up to your local system to determine what happens next (e.g., overlay an existing record or create a new record).
