NTA Names

NTA authority records

When working on a MARC 21 record, you can apply a heading from the Dutch Names Authority file (NTA Names). This feature is only available for records that have dut in the 040 field $b. After searching for a NTA authority record, you can copy the link data from the field 100 and insert it into fields 100 and 700.

Controllable fields

Only the following fields permit the control of these headings using a Dutch authority record:

  • 100 fields
  • 700 fields
