Should I choose the option to have Update records delivered in a separate file

Symptom

• Receiving duplicate records in Collection Manager MARC record files

Resolution

Users have the option to have WorldCat update records delivered in a separate file.  If a change is made to a record, such as a URL change, that causes output of a new MARC record, the system will dedup any duplicate records within the same collection but it will not dedup across collections.  This is regardless of the "including" or "excluding" conditions configured and one such change would be a URL change when the item is held.
