Can I create a custom collection with URLs for multiple providers

Symptom

• Trying to create one custom collection for multiple providers by including URLs from both, separated by a semicolon or by adding another URL column to the KBART. Neither will work.   

Applies to

• WorldShare Collection Manager
  • WorldCat knowledge base    
    • custom collections

Resolution

 Multiple providers, with different URLs, cannot be included in the same collection.

1. create a custom collection for each provider
2. include respective URL for each provider, in the appropriate column, of each custom collection
3. if you will be trying to link to full-text articles, you may need to request a linkscheme, linkscheme information is linked below.
