Introduction

This release of WorldShare Collection Manager introduces enhancements, along with a bug fix. These updates are designed to help you manage increasingly complex workflows.

These enhancements are the direct result of your feedback.

New features and enhancements

User interface changes

The following UI pages were updated in this release.

  • Metadata > WorldShare Collection Manager > Display Options > New UI
  • Metadata > WorldShare Collection Manager > Search

New UI toggle in Display Options

  • You can now easily enable or disable the new user interface (UI) to suit your workflow preferences. A new toggle button is available by navigating to Metadata > WorldShare Collection Manager > Display Options > New UI.  Note, the toggle is specific to your current browser. WorldShare automatically refreshes when it is changed.

Adjustable column widths in search grids

  • You can now adjust column widths in the search grid to fit your specific needs, eliminating the need to scroll horizontally at the bottom of the page.

Bug fix

Pencil icon now displays for OCLC Number in Title search grid

  • You can now see and click a pencil (edit) icon next to the OCLC Number value in the Identifiers column of the Title search results grid. Clicking this icon opens the Bibliographic Record edit screen in Record Manager for that title. Previously, the pencil icon was missing from the Identifiers column. Note: You must have permission to edit records in Record Manager to see the pencil icon.
