New features and enhancements
User interface changes
The following UI pages were added or updated in this release.
- WorldShare Collection Manager > Institution Settings > Proxy and Authentication > Proxy
Configure OpenAthens proxy settings at the institution level
You can now select OpenAthens as your proxy type within your institution settings to streamline your authentication workflow. Previously, OpenAthens was not available as an institution-level proxy option.
-
If your library currently uses OpenAthens, no changes need to be made. Your settings will be automatically updated to reflect OpenAthens is configured.
-
When you select the OpenAthens radio button under the Proxy settings, a new text box appears allowing you to enter your Base URL
- If your library uses the Set Up Wizard (CCP-only library sites), you can now select OpenAthens and enter your Base URL directly within the wizard.

Configure OpenAthens proxy settings at the collection level
You can now choose OpenAthens as a proxy type at the collection level for both global and local collections. Previously, this option was not available in the proxy dropdown menu.
Caution: Please review Integrate OpenAthens proxy with the WorldCat Knowledge Base before making changes.
- To configure this for a global collection, navigate to the Linking section, select the Local tab, click Override for this collection under Use Proxy, and select OpenAthens from the dropdown menu.
- To configure this for a local collection, navigate to the Linking section, click Override for this collection under Use Proxy, and select OpenAthens from the dropdown menu.
Bug fixes
Activity History for Automated Holdings and KB sync feeds
- You can now view the specific Activity History for a particular Automated Holdings or KB sync feed when you click on it from the Collection Manager Home screen. Previously, you would see the full Activity History instead of the history filtered for that specific feed.
Titles failing to open from search results
- You can now successfully open titles from search results, even after navigating between different tabs or modules in the WorldShare interface.
