Determine the best method to get records and holdings for your content
Choose the type of collection to add in Collection Manager based on how you order materials from your provider. Do you order title-by-title or in online book packages?
If you order title-by-title, follow the instructions to follow the instructions in Option 1: Create a cataloging partner collection through Collection Manager.
If you order in online book packages, follow the instructions in Option 2: Get records through Contract Cataloging.

Coordinate with your provider
After you order items from your provider, at your request your provider will send OCLC an electronic invoice with your order information to OCLC. Please note:
The account number and collection ID you enter in Collection Manager must match what your provider sends to OCLC on your behalf.

Providers differ in the data elements they send to OCLC.

Option 2: Get records through Contract Cataloging
How to sign up
Records through OCLC Contract Cataloging are not included in your OCLC Cataloging Subscription.
Complete the Cataloging Partners record request (standard) form.
When records are available, you will receive an email notification from OCLC and instructions on how to obtain the records.
If your records are not as you expect, please send OCLC a message at firstname.lastname@example.org and include your OCLC symbol.
