In Record Manager Fundamentals, users at the same institution (same OCLC symbol) share a bibliographic constant data list. Your constant data records are not shared with users at any other institution.

Create bibliographic constant data records so that you can:
Avoid re-entering frequently used information when you create or maintain local bibliographic records.
Reduce typing errors and improve consistency among related bibliographic records.
Add specific fields, subfields, or other elements to multiple bibliographic records.
Develop and maintain standards for use in all bibliographic records, for certain collections, or for specific types of resources.
