When searching in Connexion, I receive the message "Search term is required."

Symptom

  • You have provided search terms, but receive the message "Search term is required" in Connexion.

Applies to

  • Connexion 3.1

Resolution

This could be caused by special characters in the terms provided (i.e., colon or parentheses). If a special character is present, remove it from the query and try again. 

If this does not resolve the issue, please contact OCLC Support with a screenshot of the message and the exact terms you are using to search.
