Launch Local Holdings Maintenance does not open Connexion browser to an LHR record

Symptom
  • You've clicked on Connexion client's Tools > Launch Local Holdings Maintenance option, but you are taken to a login page instead of the LHR.

Resolution

First, make sure you are logged in with a Limited or high level of authorization, have a default authorization number set in Tools > Options > Authorizations and your default browser allows Javascript to run and doesn't block pop-ups. You should also be on a MARC record before clicking to open the holdings display. 

If those aren't at play, close down Connexion client, rename the Options.xml file, then restart the client.

If renaming the Options.xml file does not resolve the issue, contact OCLC Support with the error you get, the authorization number you are logging in with and the steps you are taking before launching Local Holdings maintenance.
