GetLabelTitle

Find the syntax, use, parameters, return values, and an example for the GetLabelTitle macro command in Connexion client.
Syntax BOOL = CS.GetLabel (sTitle)
Use to Returns the title text from the current record, so that you can modify it.

Same as using View > Label to open a label for the current record for editing.
Parameters Enter the parameter sTitle to return the title for editing.
Return values TRUE if the action is successful, or FALSE if not.

     Dim CS As Object
     Dim sTitle as String
     Dim nResult

     Set CS = GetObject(,“Connex.Client”)

     If CS.IsOnline = False Then
          CS.Logon ““, ““, ““
     End If

     CS.Search “WC”, “#1”

     nResult = CS.GetLabelTitle (sTitle)

End Sub

What this example does
  • Logs on to Connexion if not already logged on, using the default authorization and password you selected in Tools > Options > Authorizations tab.
  • Searches WorldCat for record number 1.
  • Returns the title text for editing.
