- You get the error "Update Holdings failed" when you click Save to Catalog in CatExpress
This means that CatExpress could not update the WorldCat record with your holdings. It can be caused by a few different issues:
- The WorldCat record contains a validation error
- You do not have a Holding Library code set up in your CatExpress options or the one provided is incorrect.
- Rarely, uncontrolled subject headings have been at fault.
If none of these work, please contact OCLC Support with your name, OCLC library symbol and the OCN you are trying to set holdings on.
