I can't complete an "approve and index" in CONTENTdm

Symptom
  • The index process in CONTENTdm administration page is reporting with the message, "Last index failed"
  • The index log shows multiple ongoing failing index attempts

Additional information

Failing index queue is typically caused by an index job started during the pending approval process.
