CONTENTdm Error 202 attempting to access object

Symptom

• You are attempting to modify an existing item in the CONTENTdm (classic version) Project Client and receive an Error 202 message

Resolution

1. Access the CONTENTdm (classic version) Admin portal for the collection.
2. Open the metadata for the object and check the permission and resolve so you have access to modify.
3. Index the collection to activate changes.
4. Close and reopen the project to sync data.
