Adding Hyperlinks in a field in CONTENTdm

Symptom

 URL in the metadata is not hyperlinked to an external website.

Applies to

• CONTENTdm

Resolution

1.  If the URL contains a www try entering it without using that format.
2.  instead of https://www try just https://XXX.XXx,  leaving out the www.
