Why is the Place Hold Request Button not visible on a record?

In the Service Configuration, after you have verified that the record should have a Place Hold Request Button based on the OPAC Statuses setting, check that the Location listed in the Service Configuration > WorldCat Discovery and WorldCat Local > OPAC Statuses, Locations and Circulation Policies, matches the Shelving Location name in the Service Configuration > WorldCat Discovery and WorldCat Local > Holding Codes Translation Table.
