Getting an error saying the statement was not processed because a limit was reached

Symptom

  • When running a report, you get an error reading:

    "The following database error occurred: [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/LINUXX8664]SQL0101N The statement was not processed because a limit such as a memory limit, an SQL limit, or a database limit was reached.

    SQLSTATE=54001"

Resolution

This error occurs when your query is too large. Update your query and try again. If you need further assistance, contact OCLC Support with the name of the report you're running, a screenshot of your query or queries, and a screenshot of the error message.
