Patron Last Modified User field now contains correct information

The Patron Last Modified User field previously displayed incorrect information about the user making the update to patron accounts.  This field did not contain helpful information when updates were made by external users or APIs.  With this release, more granular detail is available to help you better understand the processes by which patron accounts were updated.

You may see the following values represented in the Patron Last Modified User field:

• The name of the individual making the update when the update is made by a user at your institution.
• The phrase "External institution" if the update was made by a user at another institution.
• The phrase "OCLC API key" + the Client ID of the API key if the API key is associated with your institution.
• The phrase "OCLC API key" without the Client ID if the API key is not associated with your institution.
• If the value is blank or null, the field will read "OCLC application."
• In cases where none of the above are true, the field will display as "Undefined."

These more nuanced field values will help groups and API users more easily understand patron updates.  This field is available in all Circulation universes, and the above values are not currently translated to other languages.

Patron ILL Approved Flag and Patron ILL Blocked Flag now set correctly

Patron ILL Flags previously displayed "Y" values that were inconsistent with the settings in WorldShare Admin.  It was necessary to validate these settings in WorldShare Admin, rather than relying on the report values.  With this release, Patron ILL Approved and Patron ILL Blocked Flags will now correctly reflect the settings in their WorldShare Admin profile. These fields are available in all Circulation universes.

Patron Last Modified User displaying incorrect or N/A values

The Patron Last Modified User field will no longer display incorrect or N/A values.  This field will now contain a more comprehensive list of values to better reflect patron account updates.  

Patron ILL Approved Flag and Patron ILL Blocked Flag incorrectly set to Y

The correct Patron ILL Approved Flag and Patron ILL Blocked Flag values will now be reflected in your reports.
