Patron custom data is provided in our patron loads but is not displaying in WorldShare

Symptom

  • You have provided patron custom data information in your patron loads, but the information is not displayed in WorldShare Circulation or WorldShare Admin

  • WorldShare Admin

Resolution

 

  1. Sign in to OCLC Service Configuration
  2. Go to WMS Institution > Patron Custom Data
  3. Add a label to each custom data field you wish to display.
  4. Select the "Show in profile" box for each custom data field you wish to display.
  5. Click Save.

Note: Options do not need to be provided. This is the free-text information you provide in the custom data fields in the patron load.
