I'm getting an error stating "There are no matching hold priority policies." How can I fix this?

  • When creating a new hold request in WorldShare Circulation, a user encounters the message "There are no matching hold priority policies. Contact your administrator to add extra policy configuration."

This error is produced when no matching policy can be found under Hold Priority. To add a policy, follow these steps: 

  1. Sign into the OCLC Service Configuration
  2. Click WMS Circulation > Admin/General > Hold Priority.
  3. Add a new policy or update an existing policy to encompass the material format or borrower category not included in the current policies. 
  4. Save the changes. 

If adding updating this policy does not fix the issue, please contact OCLC Support
