What file format does the WMS Accounting System Invoice Connector export invoices in?

Answer

The Invoice Connector exports one combined file containing all invoices that are flagged Ready for Payment, on the schedule your institution configures for the invoice export job (daily, weekly, monthly, or manual). This single-file, JSON-only design is fixed: the connector always produces one file per export, in JSON format, regardless of how many invoices it contains.

If your financial system requires individual invoice files, PDF documents, or a file format other than JSON, plan to split and convert the exported file using a program outside of WorldShare Acquisitions before importing it into your financial system. OCLC does not provide or support a specific conversion tool for this step. Institutions commonly use a spreadsheet program, a scripting language, or a third-party file conversion utility to transform the file, based on what their financial system and IT staff support.
