Folio - requirement to display the journal title and the issue title as clickable links

This is now possible with a new “parents” option for tidetails settings.

Include a facility in the OPAC to include hover text for the Help icons, clickable authors, clickable subjects, etc.

This is achieved by specifying the hover text, in quotes, in the value 3 field. Note that the Sequence 2 value needs to be at least '1'. Note also that apostrophes should be input as "'", for example:

1. For Help Icons, use value 3 (in quotes) on the tidetails array; help_page or help_page_reviews setting accordingly
2. For QL search options, use value 3 (in quotes) on the ql_search setting

Clickable authors, subjects and objects will use the link text itself as the hover text.

Creating a new menu option in Folio has been simplified

To improve the List functionality on Folio so that when displaying one list, several menu options are not needed.

Folio does not format the paragraphs in the abstract, unlike WebView.

If this is not desired, then "-BR" can be specified in the Value 3 field to revert to the previous, unformatted, display style.

As part of desupporting WebView, various changes should be made to remove the references to WebView. This includes the OPAC Configuration settings and layouts.

WebView only settings can be found in the "webview_archive" configuration block in order to assist with migration. These are excluded from the search by setting, but can be found using the search by config. block.

Re-opening an old browser tab which last updated account details in WebView will result in the borrowers barcode field being nulled.

This is a WebView only issue and was resolved before the decision to remove WebView from the release was made. An RSD was not issued.

The cursor is now presented in the barcode field when clicking on the reserve button in Folio before logging in

The hover text box is truncated in Firefox, whereas it displays OK in IE and Chrome.

Attempting to place a reservation in Folio before logging in with a system configured for local credential capture creates idle reservations and does not advise the user that login is required

The login encryption code is not flagged as Java Script and therefore rejected by some proxies and browsers when served over https.

The 'filterlocs' configuration to hide locations in the Facet bar menu in Folio does not work.

Reservations timed out in Folio when Reserve single copy feature not enabled. This is not enabled by default.

The browser console shows "SyntaxError: return not in function" for the form action when trying to place a reservation in Folio.
