Replacement of C++ modules with future-proof programs.
Several server-side processes that were previously compiled from C++ source have been replaced with Java bytecode programs. This should largely be transparent to the users but has been carried out to reduce the potential impact of operating system upgrades in the future.

This can be done by specifying a day of the week and an hour of day at which to start the next index build. This will then be scheduled by a successful build of the index manually.
