Assign an IP rule to a stanza

IP Rules are applied to each stanza by editing the configuration of each stanza individually.

 Note: Before assigning an IP rule to a stanza, you must first create the IP rule. For more information, see Create new IP Rules.

To assign an IP rule to a stanza:

1. Select Stanza Configuration from the left navigation. The Selected stanzas tab opens by default.
2. Click the Edit button () to assign IP rules for the stanza.
3. Click the IP rules text field to open the IP rules drop-down menu. Default IP rules are automatically selected to be assigned to the stanza.  Deselect the Default checkbox to:
   • Not automatically assign all default IP rules to the stanza
   • Activate the All checkbox
4. From the IP rules drop-down menu, you can:
   • Leave the Default checkbox selected to assign all common IP rules to the stanza.
   • Search for an IP rule in the IP rules text field. Select the checkbox next to the IP rule name to assign it to the stanza. As you add IP rules, they will appear above the Groups text field.
   • Select the All checkbox to assign all available groups to the stanza. To select the All checkbox, you must first deselect the Common checkbox.
5. Click the Save button () to finish configuring IP rules for the selected stanza.
