What could be causing the response: server took to long to respond?

Symptom

Browser is reporting that it took to long to connect to the server.  This is only happening for users off campus.

Resolution

Check the firewall configuration:

  1. Check the Firewall to make sure configured EZproxy ports are open on the firewall.
