How do I fix EZproxy error ebrary request for site XXXXXX to host site.ebrary.com failed: 1

Symptom

• The web browser displays ebrary request for site XXXXXX to host site.ebrary.com failed: 1 when trying to access an Ebookcentral/Ebrary link

Resolution

Short introduction or instructions to follow these steps:

1. Open the config.txt file
2. Find Ebrary Stanza
3. Make sure the Ebrary Stanza is after the Ebook Central Stanza in the config.txt
4. change the line ebrarySite to the previous value

Additional information

x  This issue comes up when Ebrary site gets changed.
