Find unique holdings in your region

Discover how to find unique holdings within a particular state, country, or region in WorldCat with Choreo Insights.

Using the WorldCat comparison functionality, you can determine unique holdings within a particular country, state, or region. In order to run this query, you will need to compare the A Group with WorldCat.

  1. Navigate to Insights > Insights Builder.
  2. From the Select Analysis Type drop-down menu, select Overlap.
  3. Select a match point with the Select Edition Type toggle:
    • OCLC Number
    • WorkID
  4. Input your institution(s) into My Libraries (A) by typing or choosing from the drop-down menu.
  5. Leave the Comparator Group(s) (B) group blank.
  6. Expand the Group Holdings query filter.
  7. Select Same Edition (OCNs).
  8. From the drop down list, select Equal To and enter 1 in the text box.
  9. Click RUN REPORT.
