Release V6.3 Notes
- Amlib Version 6.3 Release Notes (with details of new features and enhancements)
- Many added features have been developed for this version release, covering several modules of Amlib as can be seen by the table of Contents. Many are enhancement requests that have been made by Librarians or bug fixes found by other librarians. Which have now been included in this new 6.3 version. Enhancements have been added to improve operations in OpenOPAC. This release is for both SQL and Oracle database users. Oracle database users will now also be able to install OpenOPAC and OpenReports when installing version 6.3 See the individual sections for all the enhancements provided in this 6.3 version.

Setup Programs
Amlib OpenReports v6.3.1 Installation application
- Setup installation application for OpenReports v6.3.1 only. This will install OpenReports v6.3.804.exe which is the latest Version of OpenReports

Because OpenReports v6.3.1 is now available install that application rather than use the original installation file for v6.3. It is not necessary to run that first. This is a full installation program rather than a patch.

It will be necessary to setup your connections to the database prior to using OpenReports. Please see the installation notes for more detail.

Amlib OpenReports v6.3.1 Installation application
- Upgrade installation application for OpenReports v6.3.1 only
- 6th March 2019
- Notes:

Amlib OpenOPAC v6.3.2 Installation
- Upgrade installation application for OpenOPAC v6.3.2 only. This will install OCLC.OPEN.FrontendSetup.6.3.854.exe which is the latest version of OpenOPAC.
- It is NOT necessary to load the other versions of OpenOPAC. As long as you have the Amlib Programs Version 6.3, it is possible to install this application directly.

No New Updates for DIY/SIP2 in the 6.3 Release. To install DIY/SIP2, please download DIY/SIP2 version 6.0 available here.
SIP2 Service
No New Updates for SIP2 Manager nor Service in the 6.3 Release. To install SIP2 Manager or Service, please download SIP2 version 6.0 available here.
To update SIP2 to the latest release, please download the installer available here.
