How can I update my library address or name in the WorldCat Registry?

  • Your library name or address has changed and you need to update it

Resolution

There are many potential places where a library name change can have an impact on your OCLC library services.  Please contact OCLC Support before implementing the changes below to confer about other impacts to insure a smooth transition. 

  1. Log into Service Configuration here: https://worldcat.org/config
  2. Click the Change button in the upper right and choose the branch having a name change.

Note: If you don't see it, you are not an authorized user for that library. Call OCLC Support to find out who is. 

  1. Select WorldCat Registry on the left tab list.
  2. Select Name and Location.
  3. Correct the information to what you want.
  4. Click the Save Changes button at the bottom.
