Transfer files with SFTP

OCLC supports SFTP for institutions to send data to OCLC for processing. You may also use SFTP to receive records and reports. Please contact your regional OCLC Support office to retrieve SFTP credentials for your institution. If your library is migrating to WorldShare Management Services, use SFTP to send data to your implementation team and to send records for data synchronization (via WorldShare Collection Manager data sync collections).

In addition to SFTP, you can upload and download records from the WorldShare interface using My Files. See how to Upload files in My Files and Download files in My Files.

Available data centers

The data center associated with your institution's account depends on the region in which you are located. You will receive your data center assignment along with your SFTP credentials.

Note: You must always use your assigned data center.
